We're a small team in Nairobi building the boring fundamentals that the next generation of fintechs and marketplaces across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania deserve.
We design for mobile money — M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa — as the primary channel across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, not as an afterthought to a Western-default card stack. Channel-currency rules, callback semantics, and reconciliation flows are built around how these networks actually behave.
Every money movement is a double-entry posting that sums to zero. Aggregates come from the ledger; balances come from the ledger; statements come from the ledger. No spreadsheets, no shadow accounts.
Every mutation path is idempotent — by request key, by row constraint, or by status-guarded UPDATE. Retries are safe. Sweepers are safe. Webhook handlers are safe.
Sweepers reconcile lost callbacks. An alerter watches webhook health. A janitor archives old rows. Advisory locks dedup across replicas. We build the boring stuff because it matters at 3am.
